This project originated as baroque ballad written in a composition course. The ballad seemed to have a will of its own. In a small cafe, on the beach the plot of the song was woven into a story that would eventually become a novel. I called it Danoj'ar.

As a child, I was exposed to the destructive power of an injured soul, to the abyss of depression, and in the same breath, to the tremendous healing powers of the soul. This experience greatly affected my life and my desire to explore and understand. Art was a precise tool for this purpose.

Like a mistress, this project accompanied me over more than two decades, during which I married and gave birth to my children. I founded a performing arts school, enrolled in round after round of musical studies and even became a dancer and flamenco teacher.

I wrote at least three drafts of the book. At the same time, I composed songs inspired by scenes from it, painting a picture in sounds. Thus, a musical album produced by Alon Ohana; a talented producer and painter whose handprint is in present every aspect of this venture, was born.

As for me, I keep at it... combining the book and music in a digital book, writing, and composing songs, and even editing a script that will put Denoj'ar on the big screen. In between I also find time to rest in my garden bath, under the blue pergola. There, I have time to ponder when there be time to eat healthier and do some sports. Other than that, I'm happy and generally have no complaints to the Creator.
